According to Xi’an News Network, the second Shaanxi Film Awards was officially announced on August 30 after strict evaluation, nominations, and public announcements by expert judges, and six major awards were produced.
The Shaanxi Film Award is the only comprehensive film award in the province approved by the Propaganda Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, hosted by the Shaanxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and undertaken by the Shaanxi Filmmakers Association. It aims to support and reward those with social significance and influence. Fine film art, rooting the regional culture of Shaanxi in film and television works, creating new types, new film styles, and new art.
It is reported that this year’s Shaanxi Film Awards received a total of 53 participating works. The expert judges strictly reviewed and carefully selected the shortlisted films, and finally produced the best feature film “Liu Qing” and the best small and medium cost feature film “Rattle Drum Dongdong Sound” “, Best children’s film “Crazy Bullring”, best documentary “Bookmaker”, best director Tian Bo (director of the movie “Liu Qing”), best directorial debut Qin Hailu (director of the movie “Swimming the Heart”).
