The Cefalà professional Diana climbed to the third step of the podium of the Visions international Photo Awards

The Sicilian photographer Giuseppe Vella, after a very tough selection that involved photographers from all over the world, reached the third step of the podium in the international photography contest, VIPA (Visions international Photo Awards), one of the most famous in the world. In particular, Vella entered the category of images “Travel / Culture”, ie those that take images of travel and culture.

The image “Etna Gives Emotions”, this is the title given by the artist, was chosen on March 3 by NASA as an APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) image, arousing great interest in major newspapers around the globe and subsequently the April 13 as EPOD (Earth Science Picture of the Day) by USRA (Universities Space Research Association).

“It is always a pleasure to reach certain goals – says the photographer from Cefalà Diana in the Palermo area – after last year’s Top 100 in the” 35Awards “contest, it is one more incentive to improve and aim higher and higher”

The work, with a calibration of 10 copies, the artist tells us, is making the tour of Italy, adding to a private collection in Parma and two in Sicily.
