Turin, the call for summer Green Points has been published: the use of the historic squares in the city center is excluded

TURIN. The call for applications for the Turin Green Points, a two-year program of events and exhibitions, was published today, with a deadline of 20 April for summer 2022-23 in the period between 1st June and 30th September. The schedule, organized with the involvement of bodies, associations and operators in the sector, provides for “cultural, recreational, social and public entertainment / entertainment events, sustainable from an environmental point of view” with particular attention to the involvement of green areas peripheral, while the use of the historic squares of the city center is excluded. The request to the participants in the call is to submit, for the identified area, a two-year program detailed in number and type of activities and a schedule for the 2022 events, generally for those relating to 2023.
Budget at 300 mila euro
The estimated budget for the production of the projects is 300 thousand euros for each year and it will be the task of the Fondazione per la Cultura Torino to raise the funds by sensitizing public and private bodies. There are two categories of projects envisaged, those with a budget greater than or equal to 80 thousand euros and with a programming of a minimum of 20 days of activity, even if not consecutive, and projects with a budget greater than or equal to 20 thousand euros and less than 80 thousand euros with a programming of a minimum of 10 days, even if not consecutive. An exemption from the fee for public land is provided for exclusively cultural recreational activitieswhile commercial activities, whose surface must not exceed half of the total, will have a 50% reduction.

The application form, complete with the required attached documents, must be sent only and under penalty of exclusion electronically via certified email (in the name of the candidate), to the certified e-mail address.
