After years of waiting, Ubisoft is finally releasing Blue Sea and Black Sails on November 8, 2022. At that time, the sailing game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, PC (Epic Games Store and Ubisoft International Store).
“Blue Sea and Black Sails” was first announced in 2017, but development work began as early as 2013. The game, based on the naval combat system of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, has gone through multiple delays, with annual delays starting in 2018 — until now.
In “Blue Sea and Black Sails”, the player is the captain of a pirate ship, accepting contracts, collecting resources, sailing on the high seas and looting merchant ships.
