R&B Superstar Usher Teams Up With Apple Music For Exclusive Super Bowl Halftime Show Preview

In anticipation of Super Bowl LVIII, Usher has given fans a taste of what to expect during his halftime performance with an exclusive 7-minute short film, sponsored by Apple Music. The film is a clever parody of the famous movie The Hangover and features fellow rappers Ludacris, Lil Jon, and Taraji P. Henson as they embark on a wild journey through Las Vegas in search of Usher.

The short film starts with a surprise call from Apple CEO Tim Cook alerting the trio of artists about Usher’s mysterious disappearance. What follows is a frantic attempt to track down the R&B singer ahead of his Super Bowl performance in the heart of Sin City. Throughout their journey, they encounter various celebrities, including musician Anderson Paak, Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin, and actor Wesley Snipes.

The film also suggests the possibility that Usher will be joined by Jon, Luda, and Taraji during his upcoming halftime performance and intends to include his impressive roller skating skills in his musical set, adding an element of surprise to the highly anticipated show.

The short film concludes with the trio of rappers discovering a clue through a photo on Taraji’s cell phone and finding Usher performing his song “Burn” in a water fountain in front of a group of fans celebrating a bachelorette party. Usher was seen dancing under the fountain while holding a rose and wearing a sleek black leather outfit. The artists then joined in and discussed the magnitude of their upcoming show, “We have a bigger show to do in front of millions of people,” exclaimed Ludacris.

The film was produced in partnership with Apple Music to showcase the exclusive experience before Usher’s performance at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show.
