Victoria Beckham Celebrates 50th Birthday with Spice Girls Reunion

(CNN) — Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday in style this weekend in London, surrounded by her former Spice Girls bandmates.

The fashion designer, also known as Posh Spice, threw an elegant party where she was joined by Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisolm. A video posted on Beckham’s Instagram page captured the group singing along to their 1997 hit “Stop,” with the women even remembering the choreography from the iconic song.

Victoria’s husband, soccer star David Beckham, was on hand to capture the moment and expressed his excitement at the reunion of the original members of the Spice Girls. This was the first time in years that all five members had been seen together, with their last performance as a group dating back to the 2012 London Olympic Games opening ceremony.

While Bunton, Horner, Chisolm, and Brown reunited for a tour in 2019, Beckham opted out to focus on her family and successful business ventures. The Spice Girls rose to fame with their debut album “Spice” in 1996, producing hits like “Say You’ll Be There,” “Wannabe,” and “2 Become 1” before going on to pursue solo careers.

It seems that the Spice Girls still know how to spice up a party, even after all these years.
