Registration for the 1st level Master in Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine is open.
Registrations are officially open for 1st level Master in Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicinean innovative model of training and digital interaction between hospital, university and territory, established by the University of Foggia in collaboration with the University of Padua, with the school of Prof. Foresta CarloDirector of the UOC of Andrology and Reproductive Medicine of the Hospital of Padua.
The Master involves three important structures of the “Policlinico Foggia” University-run, engaged in the Prevention and Treatment of Endocrine Disorders and Female and Male Infertility: the Departmental Structure of Physiopathology of Reproduction and Assisted Medical Procreation, directed by Prof. Maria Matteothe Complex Structure of Endocrinology, directed by Prof. Olga Lamacchia and the Departmental Structure of Andrology and PMA, directed by Prof. Carlo Bettocchi. Coordinator of the Master is Prof. Maria Matteo. The Master follows a path already started by the SSD of Reproductive Physiopathology and MAP, aimed at training and collaboration with the local medicine in order to guarantee a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of couple infertility.
Through the Master, skills will be transmitted in the fields of Endocrinology, Biology, Physiopathology of male and female reproduction with particular regard to medically assisted procreation techniques. The final objective of the Master is the acquisition of autonomous management skills with specific skills dedicated to each specific professional figure. Doctors will address the clinical aspects of all the topics covered; biologists, biotechnologists and laboratory technicians will receive specific training on the biology of reproduction and assisted procreation.
The Master will make use of the contribution of prestigious professors of the University of Foggia such as Prof. Giuseppe CarrieriDirector of the Complex Structure of University Urology of the “Policlinico Foggia”, il Prof. Luigi Button, Director of the Complex Structure of University Gynecology and Obstetrics of the “Policlinico Foggia” and the Prof. Stefano BettocchiFull Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
At the end of the training course, students enrolled in the Master will be able to independently carry out part of the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine alterations associated with male and female infertility and will receive the credentials for connection to an online platform that will allow a direct dialogue with the structures reference hospital of the “Policlinico Foggia”, in order to complete the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
In this way, an experimental model of networking between the hospital, the university and the territory is launched, which will make it possible to promote the culture of the protection of reproductive health and strengthen local medicine in the prevention and early diagnosis of reproductive system and fertility disorders.
