Sony Interactive Entertainment(SIE) Published yesterday (2) 2021 “PlayStation Partner Awards” to recognize the best-selling games on the PlayStation platform in the past year.

The awards this time include the following:
Partner Award
Awarded to games developed by various game makers in Japan and Asia, and whose global sales (*1) from October 2020 to September 2021 are among the best and particularly outstanding works (*2).
Special Award(Awarded to the following three types of works)
The games developed by various game makers outside of Japan and Asia, and have the highest sales (*1) in Japan and Asia from October 2020 to September 2021.
It is a game developed by an independent game manufacturer in Japan and Asia, and has the highest global sales (*1) from October 2020 to September 2021.
Works developed by various game makers in Japan and Asia, and their achievements were particularly remarkable when they were released on PS5 (*2).
(*1) Both physical sales and digital sales on the PlayStation Store (including additional content and in-game currency) are included in the calculation.(*2) SIE exclusive indicators such as the number of players are also used in the selection.
