A gym has “hired” unvaccinated customers as influencers to circumvent the Covid certificate requirement

by admin

SOLETTA – In Switzerland, the Covid certificate requirement began on 13 September. Even for gyms, where, however, it is only valid for users, not for collaborators. Here, then, is that someone has tried to exploit this “gap”, offering their customers who are not vaccinated or not tested a job contract as an influencer.

It happened in a Solothurn facility, as the Solothurner Zeitung reports today, which reports the manager’s testimony: «The solution was proposed to me by a lawyer. 60% of my clients are not vaccinated, I cannot afford to do without them ».

So how did it go? A few days after the extension of the Covid certificate obligation, the gym proposed a contract as an influencer in writing to interested customers. There was no remuneration. But by “turning” into collaborators, unvaccinated clients had the opportunity to attend the gym without restrictions. The proposal was accepted by several users.

However, the trick did not last long, according to what is still read in the Solothurn newspaper: some customers in fact reported the situation to the cantonal authorities, who intervened before the end of September. “Since then I have followed the rules,” assures the owner of the gym. The authorities are currently clarifying the legal situation, underlining that with this solution the requirement for a Covid certificate has been deliberately circumvented.
