With a motion signed last Thursday, the councilors of the minority group “Tutti per Calco” Tiziano Sala, Giuseppe Magni, Marianna Comotti and Sonia Sigurtà invited the mayor to activate initiatives with General Practitioners and Free Choice Pediatricians to restore the presence of the Medici in the Calco area and clinics open. The suggestion of the minority would be to use, for example, the property owned by the Municipality located in Via Alessandro Volta, where the premises could, “after verifying the possession of the eligibility requirements”, be attributed to doctors to open their own clinic.
The request arises from the fact that of all 15 doctors that Calchesi citizens turn to for their basic health care, only one has opened the clinic in Calco.
