At the same time, Amazon has also added a new component called “What to Eat”, which contains useful information such as recipe recommendations, restaurant takeaway recommendations, and even Blue Apron cooking instructions.

In addition, in the “Commonly Used Smart Home” component, the IoT products you view and use the most at home will be displayed. You can also run the remote camera in a picture-in-picture format on the Echo Show 15, so that you can pay attention to your child’s situation from time to time while preparing dinner. Not surprisingly, the express delivery information will also be displayed on this screen. After all, it is an Amazon product. According to the official statement, the Alexa gadget will also appear on other Echo Shows in the future. Only limited by the size, you may have to swipe the screen to switch when using them, and cannot be used directly like the Echo Show 15.

If there are guests visiting at home, you can also activate the frame mode of the device so that some private information will not be seen by others. In addition, Echo Show 15 can also recognize the facial “visual ID” of different family members. After different people enter the system, they will see the corresponding personal information (reminders, notes, etc.). If you enter the child’s “visual ID” on the device, the device will also display the content that matches the age after recognition.

For the sake of privacy protection, “Visual ID” is only an optional feature. And Amazon promises that all machine vision-related data will only be stored on the device. The microphone and camera of the Echo Show 15 have physical switches, and the latter is physically blocked. If necessary, you can also view or delete the recording files at any time. With the support of Amazon’s own AZ2 Neural Edge processor, users can also teach Alexa to remember various preferences in your life. For example, after telling Alexa that you are a vegetarian, it will only recommend a vegetarian menu to you in the future. It is worth mentioning that after learning, Alexa can also recognize various sounds at home, such as the doorbell or the notification sound of the washing machine. After you write it down, you can let it send you relevant notifications when you hear it. In terms of entertainment, Echo Show 15 already has Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu and other services, and TikTok and Sling TV will also join in the future.
