Amazon will open three new sorting depots in Vicenza, Treviso and Riese Pio X, in the province of Treviso. The new facilities will be operational from next autumn and will serve customers residing in Vicenza, Treviso and the surrounding areas.
The new sites will help strengthen the delivery service for customers and sellers and will create over 240 permanent jobs, including Amazon staff (60 people in warehouses) and third-party supplier staff (over 180 drivers). Amazon Logistics will, in fact, work with various local delivery service providers, investing in its logistics network. In Veneto, Amazon has already created over 550 places through a distribution center between Castelguglielmo and San Bellino, in the province of Rovigo, and two sorting depots in Verona and Vigonza, in the province of Padua.
