This morning the Local health authority of Rieti met in L’Aquila doctors specializing in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine of the University of L’Aquila. The meeting, which took place in the Aula Magna of viale Nizza in L’Aquila, was attended by the General Director of the Asl 1 Avezzano – Sulmona – L’Aquila Ferdinando Romano, the Director of the MeSVA Department of the University of ‘Aquila Guido Macchiarelli and the Deputy Director of the MeSVA Department and President of the School of Specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine Fabiana Leila.

For the Asl of Rieti the General Manager of the Asl of Rieti Marinella were present D’Innocenzo, the Medical Director Assunta From Luca, Massimiliano, the contact person for the management of the integrated hospital-territory surgical path Angelucci, the Directors of the two social and health districts Antonio Boncompagni and Gennaro D’Agostino, the Acting Director of the Hygiene and Public Health Unit of the ASL of Rieti Gianluca Fovi By Ruggiero and the medical coordinator of the Covid-19 Unit of the Asl di Rieti Marika Gentile.

Among the topics covered by the meeting, the innovation and organizational change of the Health Authorities, the experiences and variables determined in the management of the SARS CoV-2 pandemic and in the anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign and the tools arranged to respond with promptness to emergency.

The meeting allowed to start, between the Asl di Rieti, the Postgraduate School and the University of L’Aquila, a dialogue aimed at fostering, in the short medium time, an exchange of knowledge and skills that will allow the Company Local Healthcare of Rieti to grow further by improving processes and activities.
