An investigation has been opened in Lodi for instigating the restaurateur’s suicide. Death threats to Lucarelli – News

The Carabinieri are investigating to trace the identity of the computer or smartphone from which the online review of a customer of the Le Vignole pizzeria in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano started who complained about having eaten in the restaurant with two gays and a disabled boy next to him . The owner of the pizzeria, Giovanna Pedretti, 59, later found dead in the Lambro river, responded to those words and was then accused on social media of having invented everything just to gain publicity.

The military will ask Google for an answer to clarify any doubts – the woman did not leave any farewell notes – in the investigation by the Lodi Prosecutor’s Office which is now proceeding for incitement to suicide, a hypothesis which will allow in-depth analysis and technical investigations today and in the coming days necessary.

The investigations are also continuing to clarify every aspect of what happened on Sunday morning when the woman, after leaving the house by car at dawn, allegedly cut her wrists and then threw herself into the waters of the Lambro. In fact, there no longer seem to be any doubts regarding the suicide trail.

A ‘don’t be seen again’ banner put up in front of the Le Vignole restaurant

“Press and TV respect the family and don’t let them see you again” signed: “SU”. This is what we read on a sheet-banner posted last night along the gate of the public park located in front of the ‘Le Vignole’ restaurant in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano. The restaurant was managed by Giovanna Pedretti, the 59-year-old found dead in Lambro last Sunday after criticism was unleashed on the authenticity of a review of her restaurant. Yesterday the woman’s daughter had made an appeal, relaunched by friends on social media, to invite journalists to leave the street where both the pizzeria and the family’s home are located because “we are besieged”.

A second banner against journalists

A second banner, again against journalists but smaller in size than the first, was displayed this morning in a window of a private building next to the ‘Le Vignole’ restaurant. The text is the same written on the sheet hung last night on the gate of a public park located in front of the club: “Press and TV respect the family and don’t let them see you again”.

Selvaggia Lucarelli reposts threats and insults she has received

“I know where you live, watch your back because your hours are numbered. I’ll stab you when you least expect it. It’s not a joke”: this is one of the messages received by Selvaggia Lucarelli which she reposted in her Instagram stories. These are threats and insults from anonymous people who blame her for the death of Giovanna Pedretti, the restaurateur from Sant’Angelo Lodigiano found dead in the Lambro area after she ended up in controversy for a review of her at the restaurant she believed to be false. “Obviously if something were to happen (not to me, I repeat, I am strong) we blame social media, not the newspapers – she wrote – I wanted to reassure the director of Repubblica, Salvini etc… Naturally I am experienced and I take everything, I hope the other person is the same. Besides, I don’t quite understand. Today Repubblica writes that Lorenzo and I toast every day deciding who to disgrace. Do we have a column together? Do we work together? Bah. But let’s carry on like this. It works! “.

“The restaurant was his life, it was beaten.” This is Angela Giulia speaking, cousin of Giovanna Pedretti, the restaurateur from Sant’Angelo Lodigiano found dead two days ago. “She was very docile – he explains – very good and the whole family is like that too. Always available. She was beaten – he says still speaking of Giovanna – but for what, then? For stupid things. There are those who do worse, much worse worse. But driving a person to suicide because of certain bullshit…”. “There are those who could have kept quiet – she adds – they could look into their own house once.”
