Ania Foundation: “Game4value” for the first game jam in its history

“Creating the concept of a prevention and protection themed video game, with the aim of developing the best projects. It is the heart of” Game4Value “, the Game Jam reserved for high school students that will take place from 29 to 31 October”: so at the ANIA Foundation, a non-profit organization of the Italian insurance sector, it presents a new form of competition, in which participants compete to create a video game starting from an idea. Second level secondary school students can participate in “Game4Value”, gathered in teams of 3 to 6 people belonging to the same institution.

In the weeks leading up to the Game Jam, members will be able to explore the themes of the challenge by accessing special digital content dealing with financial education, insurance education and the promotion of the culture of protection and prevention.

A path that will serve to prepare the competitors for the long weekend of the challenge, the one from 29 to 31 October, which will coincide with the end of the month dedicated to financial education. On that weekend the Game Jam will take place simultaneously in all participating schools: the teams of enrolled children will have to develop a video game proposal for smartphones that is inspired by insurance issues and which focuses, in particular, on the themes of prevention, protection. and health. During the competition, the boys will also be able to compare themselves with both experts and a team of young influencers including Yotobi, Sabaku, Fraws and Synergo and Redez: well-known characters among gamers, who gather an audience of about 4 million users. .
