Another 8 startups in the Italian Tech Database: now there are 163

Deesup is a startup that manages a marketplace for luxury design objects: closed a 710 thousand euro investment round through the Mamacrowd platform. The round was attended by ALIcrowd (Azimut). The company was founded in Milan in 2017 by Valentina Cerolini and Daniele Ena.

The Hundred, a startup that invests in growing influencers, closed a 5 million euro investment round with a group of private investors led by Nicola Volpi (co-founder of Permira) and Antonio Zaccheo (CEO of BIC Capital), who also becomes president of the company. The company was founded in Milan by entrepreneurs Vincenzo Macrì and Marino Giocondi and by the investor Leonardo Bongiorno, son of Mike.

Poetronicart, a startup that wants to create a permanent digital fair dedicated to art in all its events, it closed a capital increase of 200 thousand euros with Friulia, the financial company of the Friuli Venezia-Giulia Region. The startup was founded in Trieste in 2016 by Giovanni Abelli.

Screevo is a startup that has developed a voice assistant for machinery and software for Industry 4.0 and industrial automation. It closed an investment round of 430,000 euros (approximately $ 500,000) with the American fund Boost VC. The company was founded in 2020 in Rome by Domenico Crescenzo and Nicola Tango.

Scalapay, a startup that offers a buy now-pay later service, payment in installments, closed a 133 million euro (approximately $ 155 million) investment round led by Tiger Global and participated by Baleen Capital, Woodson Capital, and previous investors Fasanara Capital and Ithaca Investments. For the startup founded by Simone Mancini in 2019, total funding now exceeds 203 million dollars. Scalapay currently has over 3,000 active stores, both online and offline, across Europe and plans to move to the UK and US in the coming months.

Oversonic Robotics, startup that develops and produces a humanoid robot designed to replace humans in dangerous jobs, it closed a capital increase with business angel and Fintel, the Bulgarelli family’s financial company, which acquired 33% of the company. The round value is undisclosed. The company was founded in 2020 by Paolo Denti and Fabio Puglia.

Quick Algorithm is a startup that has developed a SaaS platform which allows companies to increase productivity and reduce waste by collecting, sharing and analyzing data on their physical assets and machinery. He closed a one million euro investment round with angel and Bocconi for Innovation. The company was founded in 2018 by Jacopo Piana.
