Apple re-admits to the Store Parler, the social app of Trump’s followers

by admin

Apple has readmitted Parler’s app to its digital store. The hi-tech giant had excluded the social platform for promoting the assault on Capitol Hill on January 6, with hateful messages and incitements to violence. “Apple – said one of the executives, Timothy Powderly – anticipates the news that the updated Parler app will be immediately available”. Republican Senator Mike Lee called the decision a “huge victory for freedom of expression.”

Parler is a new platform, born in competition with Facebook and Twitter and became popular for being chosen by Donald Trump and his supporters, as a place to express opinions without censorship.
