The whistleblower ShrimpApplePro said on Twitter that the news pointed out that the Apple A16 Bionic processor will maintain the TSMC 5nm process node, the performance of the CPU and LPDDR5 will be slightly upgraded, and the GPU will also have better performance. The series of processors use TSMC’s 3nm process.

Recently, it has been rumored that Apple will use the A16 Bionic processor, which was renamed based on the A15 Bionic, in the iPhone 14 series, while the high-end iPhone 14 Pro series uses the A16 Pro Bionic processor. The one will be a modified version of the A15 Bionic.

Although the process is the same node, for example, A12 and A13 both use TSMC’s 7nm process, but A13 uses an upgraded version of the process, which still brings performance improvements.
