Many apps on Android have suffered from frequent crashes since yesterday, but Google has already fixed the problem, which is attributable to a component called Android System WebView that allows apps to display web content. The outage lasted approximately seven hours on Monday and also addressed many apps connected to Google services, including Gmail. Google has already released an update to the component, version 89.0.439.105, and one for Google Chrome.

– Update the app
– Search for Google Chrome

– Update the app

No problems occurred in the desktop versions of the same services.
