ASUS has launched a variety of models with 16:10 OLED panels including Zenbook 14X, Vivobook Pro 14X/16X, ProArt Studiobook 16 at IFA, and now it is the turn of the main Zenbook series to upgrade. The new generation of Zenbook 14 OLED is divided into two models of Intel and AMD, but the appearance is basically the same except for the color selection.
The Zenbook 14’s top plate is based on ASUS’ new Zenbook logo (the letter A formed by two triangles) as the starting point, and the matte metal is divided into bright lines. The overall design of Zenbook 14 has returned to a relatively rigid line, but a circular hinge design is chosen for the hinge, which not only contrasts with the fuselage, but also differs from the hidden hinges of previous generations.
This hinge design not only has the function of Ergolift (lifting the laptop slightly when the screen is on), but also allows the laptop to lie flat at 180 degrees.
In addition to hiding the numeric keypad in the touchpad, the Zenbook 14 also has a dedicated Fn key switch for its microphone and front lens, and a light signal is displayed when it is turned on.
