The evening also wanted to represent a response to the requests from citizens who have arrived in recent months, eager to better understand the intervention and its purposes.

The event was attended by the mayor of Pavullo, Davide Venturelli; the Director of the Pavullo Health District, Massimo Brunetti; the Director of the Corporate Primary Care Department of the Modena Local Health Authority, Anna Franzelli; the Manager of the Pavullo Community House, Michela Camatti, manager of the Frignano Community Houses and Dante Cintori, general practitioner.

In the various interventions, the objectives of the project were clarified and explained, not only in relation to the new services for the area but also in respect of the green spaces in the surrounding area and the implementation times. The Community House will have a highly innovative value because it will integrate with the structure planned next to the new building (the so-called ex church), which will allow for a multifunctional space available to the community for the implementation of participatory projects for different age groups .

During the evening it was underlined that the process is proceeding according to the timeline defined by the PNRR. It was reiterated that all parts of the new Community House will be built, with progressive activation of services according to the planning shared also at local level on the basis of priorities identified for each territory. The buildings will function, the systems will all be completed and the spaces will be functionally adequate for the planned activities.

Most of the outpatient and care services open to citizens will be developed on the ground floor in the part that will be completed in the first phase. In the initial phase of the project, in fact, only an internal portion on the second floor will remain unfinished, considered to be of ‘secondary priority’.
Among the activities planned in the new Community House there are services aimed at chronic conditions with the provision of spaces and technologies for general medicine such as ultrasound, ECG and spirometers; continuity of care (medical emergency); community nursing; home nursing care; local palliative care; community psychology; the youth space; the help desk for caregivers and the social help desk.

“The meeting was an excellent opportunity to clarify the destination of the new building and to reassure citizens about the maintenance of the park, which will not be dismantled, but rather renewed and redeveloped, together with the structure of the former church which will in turn be of a recovery intervention – declares the mayor of Pavullo, Davide Venturelli -. The two repaved pitches and new play installations will be available to children and athletes, while along Via Coppi the construction of a new parking strip and a small return roundabout is planned to allow turning without accessing private areas. The overall objective is to create an environment suitable for all citizens and which guarantees effective collaboration with the services that will find space within the Community House”.

“The Community Houses represent an important element of the healthcare network that integrates with all the rest of the services – states Massimo Brunetti, Director of the Pavullo Health District -. At the center of them is an increasingly strong model of integration of different professionals in which the central element is taking care of care needs. We are also satisfied that the structure will impact only 5% of the surrounding green area: for us the environmental issue is a great value to respect”.
