Cooking is therapeutic. And doing it together proved to be a unique opportunity for improvement from the clinical point of view, social relations and, in general, the symptoms associated with autism. To support this, a pilot study published in the journal Research for developmental disabilities of the Elsevier group, which followed 20 boys between the ages of 15 and 25 from September 2018 to April 2021, evaluating changes in adaptive behaviors, social skills and the severity of symptoms related to their syndrome.
