Big events. Celebrating Aldrovandi without explaining why

The celebrations for the fifth centenary of the birth of Ulisse Aldrovandi are underway in Bologna. Organized by the University: there is an international congress, a series of guided visits to the museum of Palazzo Poggi, the beautiful building that houses the scientist’s collections, a “popular event” (as stated in the program) which I bird Aldrovandi’s studies in relation to today’s scientific contexts.
