Breast cancer, a molecule to prevent metastases is being studied

“Immobilize” tumor cells and prevent them from walking around, entering blood vessels and invading other organs, forming metastases, which are the real cause of cancer death. A different – and complementary – strategy compared to the one used up to now. And now a group of researchers at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel, claims they have found a way to do exactly that.
