When the Galaxy Note series was canceled last year, there were rumors that Samsung wanted to focus consumers on another flagship to drive sales of the Galaxy S21 series even higher, but the idea didn’t seem to be as expected. Recently, South Korean media reports pointed out that the sales of the Galaxy S21 series last year were comparable to the sales of the previous generation in 2020.
The South Korean website “The Elec” reported that the sales of the Galaxy S21 series were about 25 million units, which did not increase due to the cancellation of the Galaxy Note 21. The COVID-19 epidemic that continues to ravage the world in 2021 is one of the reasons for the slow sales; the inability of the Vietnamese production line to meet the production targets set by Samsung has also hindered the sales progress of the Galaxy S21 series.
Although the Galaxy Note series will not be re-launched in the short term, it is known from recent revelations that the Galaxy S22 Ultra seems to be the successor to the Galaxy Note 20. If supporters of the Note series decide to buy it, it is expected that consumers will be concentrated on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. S series, to achieve Samsung’s original goal.
