How to behave when you have a sore mouth
In most cases canker sores heal spontaneously within 7-14 days. To prevent its appearance, it is advisable to keep stress levels low, follow a balanced diet and avoid the triggering factors identified for each individual case. In this way the risks can be drastically reduced.
If one presents itself then you can try to ease the pain and discomfortusing, for example, mouthwashes based on aminobenzinate, aloe vera or cortisone. Cold compresses of chamomile or green tea can also help, while acidic and spicy foods should be avoided ā it would be a bit like putting salt on an open wound.
