The return of Check up, personally wanted by the director of Rai 2 Ludovico Di Meo to bring medical dissemination on his network, in reality it doesn’t add much to the current television landscape. Intelligence, however, is undoubtedly in understanding that the strong point of the transmission is the in-depth account of medicine and certain pathologies.
I know Good morning wellness, broadcast until a few minutes before on Rai 1, has a broader approach to health, Check up rightfully has his own focus on medicine and so in the inaugural episode two problems are mainly addressed, one of which is deepened thanks to an intervention shown live.
The connection from the operating room, useful to understand the steps required by the operation, although it does not risk exposing the case to a spectacle, embarrasses the presenter, who must disturb the work that is taking place. It would probably have been enough to show the expert’s explanation in the studio that shows Ravegnini step by step the various operations to be carried out within the intervention.

Luana Ravegnini, with a number of perhaps excessive glances at the hunchback, he still discreetly brings his task home, lacking a bit in naturalness, but after a period of almost 10 years away from the TV it seems more than understandable. Check up certainly it will not have brought anything new on TV, but thanks also to its limited duration and scientific rigor it will once again represent a point of reference for viewers looking for correct information in this field.
