Color tattoos, the expert: “Many pigments are carcinogenic or can cause allergies”

Say goodbye to color tattoos? Not really. The new EU directive will ban a whole series of chemicals harmful to human health or the environment starting from January 4th, including 27 pigments that contain isopropyl alcohol, used daily by tattoo artists all over the world. A ban that will prevent over a thousand cases of chronic allergic reactions every year and drastically reduce other serious skin reactions resulting from tattoos.
