The Regional Health Department is in the midst of consultations to define the new Plan for the health and social well-being of the Aosta Valley 2022/2025. The work in progress is based on a first draft of the document which, once perfected, will define the regional health and social policy for the coming years.

The first phase of the discussion, aimed at professionals, opened today with the meeting between the technical councilor group and the top management of the Aosta Valley Usl Company.

In a note, the councilor for health Roberto Barmasse expresses satisfaction with the work done, which however is only at the beginning.

The consultations will continue with the trade union representatives of the operators of the regional health service, the local authorities and the representatives of the third sector. Once these steps have been completed, the document will be made public and available to all Aosta Valley residents through an online platform dedicated to the Plan.

According to the commitments made in the Valle Council, the regional plan for health and social well-being will be approved by the Executive in the autumn, but the informal version of the document will arrive at the competent Commission before the summer break of the Regional Council’s work to allow political forces to evaluate it. the contents.

The approval of the final version by the Valle d’Aosta Regional Council is expected by the end of the year.
