Il padre of the little girl died in a car in a parking lot in Rome he was “convinced” that he had left his daughter in kindergarten. The 45-year-old carabiniere under investigation for abandonment of minors after the death of the little girl would have stated this in the interrogation before the investigators. The little girl, just 14 months old, was found dead in the car.
The prosecutor’s office to carry out the autopsy on the girl is scheduled for Friday. The kindergarten is a few tens of meters from the father’s office. The car is still seized: the investigators will have to complete a series of checks on the vehicle to clarify exactly what happened.
