Thus the mayor of Mezzane di Sotto Giovanni Carrarini asks its citizens to move forward during this phase of the coronavirus emergency. An emergency that “is not over – added Carrarini – This is why vaccination is important. Without the vaccine, the situation at the nursing home would be very different ».
In fact, a coronavirus outbreak at the Sacred Heart Service Center in Mezzane. Through routine checks, some swabs tested positive for the virus and this triggered all prevention measures to prevent the spread of the infection. “The positives at the Sacred Heart Service Center are in all 18 – explained the mayor Carrarini – Ten guests who reside in the Municipality, four guests who are not residents of Mezzane and four operators”.
“I want to reassure everyone that, thanks to the vaccine, the guests of the Sacred Heart Service Center are all asymptomatic,” added the mayor of Mezzane di Sotto. Among the operators, however, it seems that there are some who are not vaccinated, but none show serious symptoms of Covid-19.
The Ulss 9 Scaligera is however keeping the situation monitored and everything appears to be under control.
