Covid: allergic to vaccine, inoculation in Mestre – Medicine hospital

by admin

(ANSA) – VENICE, 18 OCT – He is allergic to the Covid vaccine but despite this, thanks to a specific technique, he managed to inoculate with the health workers of the Angelo di Mestre hospital (Venice). Imad Rouita is the protagonist of the story: he relied on Ulss 3 Serenissima both for the ‘fractional vaccination’ and to make his case known.

“I have relied on science – says Imad -, and now those friends of mine who have not vaccinated themselves out of fear, despite being suitable, are thinking about it again”. The man decided to immunize himself under observation by the Angel: the first hospital in the Northeast to have already vaccinated two subjects in a protected setting, one is precisely Imad, allergic to the excipient of the vaccine.

Neither patient experienced side effects, thanks to the technique of “fractional vaccination” or with progressive inoculations. In a few days it will be the turn of a third patient who tested positive for the allergen present in the vaccine, who insisted on proceeding with the vaccination under observation anyway.

In ‘fractional vaccination’ each dose is divided into three injections administered in a hospital setting 20 minutes apart. The patient then remains under observation for one hour. The effectiveness is the same, but the tolerability is much higher. (HANDLE).
