Washington, May 27 (beraking latest news Salute) – “In light of ongoing investigations into the origin of Covid and after consultations with our public health experts, we will no longer remove claims that Covid was generated” in the laboratory from our platforms. So a Facebook spokesman explained to The Hill the social media’s decision to stop the measure that banned the publication of posts speculating on the origin of the pandemic, including one that was caused by an accident in the laboratory.

“We are continuing to work with experts to keep abreast of the evolving nature of the pandemic and regularly update our policies as new facts and trends emerge,” added the Facebook spokesperson who last December announced that he would take targeting posts containing misinformation about Covid.

Facebook’s decision comes after President Joe Biden announced he had asked intelligence to “redouble its efforts” to reach a “definitive conclusion” regarding the origin of the virus within 90 days. The Senate last night then approved a law requiring intelligence to declassify, again within 90 days, all information relating to the origin of the virus, in particular on the role of China.
