Saturday 28 August, in Taranto, doctors and patients healed in favor of early Covid home care. The goal is to make the therapy official and avoid hospitalizations.
The Covid, disease caused by the virus Sars-Cov-2, if treated with adequate and timely therapies, it is treated at home without reaching dramatic consequences and avoiding hospitalizations.
There are several tens of thousands of cases of Covid patients healed at home in a few days, by virtue of health care and a deals withhealth ment with home therapies received early already from the news of the positivity to the virus or from the development of the first symptoms related to this pathogen.
This was made possible thanks to those doctors who, throughout Italy, decided to disregard the ministerial protocol of the watchful waiting, considered ineffective and harmful, and studying various effective and timely solutions, acting according to science and conscience, assuming the consequent responsibilities.
This initiative was carried out, among others, by the doctors of Covid-19 Home Care Committee andUnion for Care, Rights and Freedoms, which for many months have been trying to give evidence to these treatments and to start a constructive dialogue with the Ministry of Health so that home care against Covid-19 can be made official and therefore made available to every doctor. At the moment there are about 1200 professionals throughout Italy who have joined this initiative, offering their skills for free, even online, to citizens who request them.
It is a therapy that has not been reached by chance, but through careful medical and pharmacological studies, based on the scientific literature available on the subject and with comparison.
Official data on theeffectiveness of home care against Covid. According to the spokesperson, Valentina Riganò, from an empirical collection of data collected from the activity carried out by 10 of these doctors, during the second wave (last autumn) 904 patients its 906 would behealed and only in two cases would hospitalization be necessary. Two patients, moreover in advanced age, would have died; in one case the death would have occurred after the recovery and it is not known whether the cause is attributable to Covid.
Some of these professionals will be a Taranto, Saturday 28th August at 20.30, in Piazza Maria Immacolata, not far from the historic part of the Ionian city. They will talk about the “cure of the sick in science and conscience”, but also about the assistance, the voluntary service of these professionals, and the closeness and listening to the patient, unfortunately often passed away in this last year and a half.
They will also talk about what they called “inexplicable media silence on home care”. The conference will also be attended by some of the patients recovered thanks to home care, who will share their experience with the square.
The intervention of the lawyer is also foreseen Erich Grimaldi, president of the Covid-19 Home Care Committee andUnion for Care, Rights and Freedoms, who will explain, from the point of view of these two bodies, “what went wrong in local health during the Covid-19 emergency and how the national press, with a few exceptions, did not have the courage to transparently analyze what was happening and what is still happening today ”.
“In addition -explains the lawyer. Grimaldi- the decision of the Sardinia Region to register the home care of our committee, as a tool for general practitioners for home support to Covid, will be reported. They will be doctors and citizens recovered from Covid thanks to the group’s professionals. “
In addition to doctors, the home care initiative against Covid counts on the support of various other professionals, including psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists, pharmacists, dieticians and nutritional biologists.
The organizers are keen to emphasize that the territorial conference is absolutely not “no-vax”, as some press, with superficiality or with bad faith, had ruled.
The goal is to spread knowledge and comparison, to provide a health response as correct and effective as possible.
