Covid, if we do not help the children, the fifth wave will be that of mental disorders

Compared to before the pandemic, anxiety and depression have doubled in boys. One in four teenagers have clinical symptoms of depression and one in five have an anxiety disorder. This was highlighted by an extensive analysis that included 36 studies from 11 different countries, published in Jama Pediatricsunderlining that school closures may have had a positive effect on the lower spread of infections from Sars Cov-2, but have negatively affected, and a lot, the mental health of young people.
