Struck down by Covid at just 36 years old. The community of Calvizzano, a town on the outskirts of Naples, mourns the passing of Bruno Puerio, hospitalized for several weeks.
Doctors did everything possible to save him, but unfortunately his condition worsened as the days went by. Puerio was a boy who was very attentive to his health, he practiced sports such as the gym and five-a-side football.
“Calvizzano mourns the death of the very young Bruno Puerio, 36, who died of the coronavirus. A tragedy. He had been hospitalized for several weeks, unfortunately, he didn’t make it. The whole Calvizan community clings to the very strong pain of mum, dad, family, friends. It is a day of mourning for our community, ”says the mayor of Calvizzano Giacomo Pirozzi.
