Gimbe, currently positive trends are dropping / 100 thousand inhabitants (205; -11.1%)

In the Marche region saturation of intensive care with Covid-19 patients at 13% (the highest percentage in Italy; national average 6%): it is followed by Sardinia and Sicily (11%), Calabria and Tuscany (10%); while it is 6% for the medical area (7% Italy). This is evidenced by the data of the weekly monitoring carried out by the Gimbe Foundation. Therefore, the Marches remain below the saturation threshold for beds in the medical area and above as far as intensive care is concerned. In the week 8-14 September, the performance improved for currently positive cases per 100 thousand inhabitants (205, as the national average) and a decrease in new cases (-11.1%) compared to the previous week.
As for vaccines, the Marche population that has completed the vaccination cycle is equal to 67.3% (Italy average 68%) to which to add a further 4.8% (Italy 6.1%) who received only the first dose. Those over 50 who have not received any dose of vaccine are equal to 12.6% (Italy average 11.1%) of the total; 40.2% of the total received no dose in the 12-19 age group (Italy average 33.7%).
This is the list of new cases of the last week divided by province drawn up by Gimbe: “Macerata (76), Fermo (66), Pesaro and Urbino (58), Ascoli Piceno (55) Ancona (34)”. (HANDLE).
