Overall, there are 45,753, including doctors, nurses and health personnel in general, people not yet vaccinated in Italy: this is 2.36% of the category.
The order of doctors decided to suspend the no vax doctors. “Today we have given indications to all territorial orders that, in the presence of an assessment by the ASL of unvaccinated health workers and doctors, ope legis is the suspension of the doctor and his activity until he has carried out the anti-vaccination -Covid and in any case no later than 31 December ». The president of the National Federation of Medical Orders, Filippo Anelli, said this to Ansa in reference to the suspensions initiated by the ASL of various regions on the basis of the clarification of the ministry on the April decree that introduced the vaccination obligation for health workers .
Thing says the norm
The regulation attributes «to the health authority the verification of the non-observance of the vaccination obligation from which the suspension ex lege from the exercise of the health profession and from the performance of the working activity derives. The assessment is communicated by the ASL to the interested party, the employer and the professional associations so that they take note of it and adopt the provisions and measures of competence ».
At that point «the suspension is immediately communicated to the person concerned by the professional association. From the foregoing it is clear that once the ASL assessment document has been received, the Order and, specifically, the competent Register Commission must promptly adopt a Commission resolution having the character of mere acknowledgment of the suspension of the interested professional by reporting the relevant annotation in the Register ».
