Covid: today 5,080 cases and 198 deaths in Italy

Rome, May 10 (beraking latest news Salute) – There are 5,080 new cases of Covid-19 found today in Italy after analyzing 130 thousand swabs, with the positivity index at 3.9%. In the last 24 hours, another 198 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total victims to 123,031 since the beginning of the pandemic. This is today’s bulletin on Covid infections, made known by the Ministry of Health, available on the Civil Protection website.

Intensive care admissions are still dropping, where there are now 2,158 people (-34 from yesterday), with 80 new daily admissions. There are 15,427 ordinary hospitalizations (+20 from yesterday), 3,619,586 healed in total (+15,063) and 373,670 currently positive (-10,184).
