Covid vaccine: no increased risk for breast cancer

by admin

On Tuesday I should have the vaccine but I am very afraid because I have breast lumps one had a result analyzed Stromal fibrosis. I have been told that these nodules rarely become malignant i was wondering if the covid vaccine can interfere with the nature of the nodule.

Answers Annamaria Molino, professor at the School of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Verona, former Director of the Complex Operating Unit of Medical Oncology and of the Breast Group at the Integrated University Hospital of Verona:

Dear Mrs,
I share the information they gave you about your breast injury. Vaccination against COVID does not lead to any increased risk of cancer. So do the vaccination and check your breasts as advised: they are two different stories that do not intersect with each other.
