Carmel Harrington has dedicated 30 years of his life to the study of Sudden infant death syndrome (Sids), more commonly called cot death. A terrible syndrome, which affects one in two thousand newborns, usually between two and four months of life. Harrington was a lawyer when his son Damienher “perfect baby”, died suddenly when he was just a few weeks old.
