Diverticulitis, when it is (really) the case to resort to a scalpel

Diverticulitis, haven’t we made too much use of surgery? The question is important, even more so if it is the specialists themselves who ask it, even in a congress. And in fact, the international congress on diverticular disease, on 1 and 2 October in Rome, offers the opportunity to redesign the times and methods of interventions (if and when to bring a patient to the operating room).
