Eight new startups in the Italian Tech DB

Barberino’s, Joined, Tramundi, faire.ai, Digital Rock Holding, BigProfiles, aiko e 1000Farmacie these are the eight new startups entered today in the Italian Tech Startup Database launched on 23 September last (who the explanation of the motivations and objectives). Here’s in more detail who they are and what they do.

Barberino’s is a startup that has developed a platform for barbershop. Founded by Michele Callegari and Niccolò Bencini in 2015, the company closed in 2020 an equity crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd, raising one million and 250 thousand euros.

Joined is a startup based in Bologna and founded in 2015 by Gian Guido and Lorenzo Riva, which develops customized prostheses for each patient, simulating the articulation and implantation of the most fitting prosthesis. In 2020 it closed a € 1,350 million round with business angels of IAG and with investors from the online equity investing platform community Doorway.

Tramundi, a startup active in the travel sector (founded in 2020 by Alessandro Quintarelli, Alberto Pirovano and Rodolfo Lironi) which aims to innovate the world of Italian tour operators, has closed an investment round in 2020 of 1.5 million euros led by business angels (including Alberto Genovese).

Faire.ai is a fintech startup specialized in consumer credit automation that uses open banking (PSD2) as a source and use of data, machine learning and AI, to estimate consumer credit scores. Founded in 2020 by Gianluigi Davassi, Gilberto Taccari, Giorgio Fiorentino and Cristina Bonacina, in 2020 it closed a 1.5 million euro financing round with Project Bank.

Digital Rock Holding is an innovative SME that has developed a platform for cryptocurrencies. Founded in 2010 by Andrea Madri and Davide Barbieri, in 2020 it raised 1.5 million from an equity crowdfunding campaign on the platform Startup.

BigProfiles, is a startup that offers analytics and AI products and services in the marketing field. Founded in 2017 by Lorenzo Luce and Roberto Visceglia, in 2020 it closed a 1.5 million round with Lventure Group, Italian Angels for Growth and the Fondo Italia Venture I.

Aiko is a startup that develops Artificial Intelligence solutions for the automation of space missions. Founded in 2017 by Lorenzo Feruglio, Giorgio Albano and Loris Franchi, in 2020 it raised 1.5 million from a round led by Primo Space Fund, the space investment fund managed by Primomiglio.

1000Farmacie, a startup that has developed a platform with hundreds of Italian pharmacies, in 2020 closed a 1.5 million euro investment round led by Healthware Ventures.
