Einstein’s rare and imperfect notes, sold at auction for 11 million euros

by admin

In Paris, the British auction house Christie’s sold a manuscript by the famous German physicist, Albert Einstein, for 11.6 million euros. It consists of 54 pages of notes, written together with Michele Besso, a Swiss engineer of Italian origin, between 1913 and 1914. The manuscript represents one of the starting points for the formulation of the general theory of relativity of 1915, through which Einstein has become synonymous with genius all over the world.
