Eni lands in Silicon Valley with an outpost in San Francisco. Dubbed the “Innovation Outpost”, this presidency aims directly at “intercepting emerging trends that could have a significant impact on the energy sector” as explained by Dario Pagani, Head of Digital & Information Technology at Eni.

Italian Tech Week 2021, Onetti (Mind the Bridge): startup and business innovation, where is Italy at?

And on the occasion of the launch event, Eni not only explored the main trends in three different business areas but also met a selection of American startups identified by Mind the Bridge. “Companies that decide to open an innovation outpost in Silicon Valley – explains Alberto Onetti, President of Mind the Bridge – can benefit from a privileged observatory on the world‘s number one ecosystem where all the ‘next big things’ are born. At Mind the Bridge, we have the burden and the honor of supporting Eni’s international scouting activities from 2019. This outpost that we will host and support in San Francisco from today is a further and significant step forward in their innovation journey “.

Eni’s open innovation outpost, hosted at the Mind the Bridge innovation center, is located in the most prolific and effervescent pole of attraction for start-ups in the world; not surprisingly, according to recent research, more than 300 of the Fortune500 companies have decided to establish a stable presence here.
