Ericsson Innovation Awards, a competition for ideas to reduce the digital divide

by admin

Ericsson announced the 13th edition of the Ericsson Innovation Awards, which gives students the opportunity to present their ideas for reducing the digital divide. Which is increasing despite the possibilities offered by technology.

The problem is that economic, geographical and gender factors have left a great many people around the world at a serious disadvantage in this respect for various reasons, such as lack of infrastructure and resources in the country they live in or the high cost of the devices that could help bridge the gap. Therefore, participating in the Ericsson Innovation Awards 2021 also means identifying the type of digital divide that you want to overcome and thinking about solutions that leave no one behind.
