A key theme for the current digital advertising monetization scheme

ROME – The Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers (FIEG) and the Datrix group of tech companies have made available to the associated Publishers a free specialist training program on the collection, analysis and activation of first-party data: this is an extremely important topic for the publishing sector, in view of the imminent impossibility of using third-party cookies, a fundamental element for the current monetization scheme of digital advertising and which will have significant consequences on the ability of publishers to collect and qualify their audiences.

The free FIEG-Datrix specialist seminars aim to prepare Publishers for the new digital paradigm through the study of the new frameworks to be adopted, the comparison of the first part data with those of the second and third part, the integration of first part digital with those in CRM through the construction of data lakes, predictive user profiling through solutions based on machine learning and the monetization of first-party data through programmatic advertising. Attention is also placed on the technological infrastructures which are being discussed within the Project Rearc.

The Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers (FIEG), founded in 1950, represents the publishing companies of daily newspapers, periodicals, press agencies, digital publications. The Italian Newspaper Printers Association and the Federation of Advertising Concessionaries adhere to FIEG. The publications associated with FIEG are 318, of which 311 are daily newspapers and periodicals, including digital ones, and 7 are national press agencies.
