SARONNO – The first appointment with the initiative “An open-air gym”, promoted by Asd Polisportiva Repax in collaboration with the municipality of Saronno and sponsored by Italiana Assicurazioni, took place on Wednesday 23 June.
The project, born in times of lockdown, combines various themes dear to the subjects proposing the initiative; in fact, the primary objective was to create an appointment in the open air to promote physical well-being and return to exercise in the presence after months of online lessons, combined with the need to enhance a park in the center that often is not considered but it deserves the attention of the city. Thanks to these purposes, the councilor for sport Gabriele Musarò and the councilor for greenery Franco Casali immediately supported the project.
Initiative that saw the participation as sponsor, in the hundredth year of its activity, of the agency Ferrario Assicurazioni – Italiana Assicurazioni which with its contribution wanted the appointments to be free for the participants, as it has always supported a lifestyle oriented to well-being, rewarding those who pursue it in an active and dynamic way.
The appointments will continue until 24 July every Wednesday at 7.45 pm and every Saturday at 8.30 am at the Parco dei Bersaglieri in via XXV Aprile in Saronno.
