A drone as we are now used to seeing it in flight but of much larger dimensions and above all with seats to carry two passengers. It is the Volocopter, a fully electric 18-rotor aircraft designed and developed by the German company Volocity and presented at Fiumicino airport.
“The goal is to set up an air taxi service that will allow you to reach the center of Rome from the airport in 15-20 minutes. We aim to make it operational in 2024 in order to be ready for the Jubilee”, explained the CEO by Adr Marco Troncone.
