A disruptive choice not only for the educational market

The data reward brands that have been focusing on an alternative choice for years, combining an offer based on Chrome OS with the classic one based on Microsoft platform. Since the introduction of the first version of Chrome OS, Acer has immediately believed in its own family of Chromebooks, to the point of reaching a significant milestone for the market today.

The Taiwanese company, in fact, recently announced the first Chromebook with a 17.3-inch screen. Acer Chromebook 317 is one of the four new Acer models based on Chrome OS dedicated to the educational world but with perfect features also for the consumer and professional.

These are models that contain all the peculiarities of Chromebook-based products: ease of use, extremely quick start-up, autonomy, portability and versatility.

In addition to the aforementioned 17-inch model, Acer has launched the Chromebook Spin 713 and the Chromebook 514 also in their respective enterprise versions and, finally, the Acer Chromebook 314 designed specifically for students of all levels.

The Spin 713 models are among the first Intel Evo certified Chromebooks in the world, the platform that encompasses the ultimate in processing technology along with new connection, autonomy and user experience features. To these features, Acer adds reliability certified by the MIL-STD 810H military protocol, access via fingerprint and the best connectivity options.

Lightweight, thin, convertible into tablets and with touch panels starting from 13.5 inches, Acer Chromebooks are ready for intense use even in extreme mobility without ever sacrificing performance and usability, with autonomy up to 10 hours and a recharge of just half an hour for guaranteed use of 4 hours.

If the health crisis of 2020 provoked the decisive push towards the second place overall in world sales, the forecasts of all analysts agree that this is not an impromptu surge. Smart working and digital education are trends that will remain and consolidate in the years to come, and the Chromebook concept proves to be perfect for this type of mobile use by an extremely wide age group that includes under 18s such as those over 60.
